Shelly Page is a 27 year old American artist located in Los Angeles, California. She creates oil paintings and acrylic paintings in her free time. Shelly started painting at the age of 16 and is mostly self-taught. She gets inspiration from nature, life experiences, and feminine beauty.
Many of the subjects Shelly paints are women of traditional and untraditional beauty. Her paintings depict young girls and women grappling with issues of love and belonging and often have human hearts and galaxy motifs to signify these inner struggles.
Shelly classifies her art as pop-surrealism but finds that her style is constantly evolving.
