Curtis Patrick Arnold began his professional career in the arts as an apprentice inker for Image Comics's Studios. His comic book career spans nearly 8 years and over 100 books including Star Wars, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Wolverine.
Collage, however has been his passion since childhood; gifting him with an intimate form of expression. Cutting and tearing from books and magazines, Curtis visually depicts the duality between the feminine and the terrible to create an honest depiction of existence.
Ink acts as a flow and a growth. Like blood, the spider's web or a climbing ivy the ink binds and completes the figure. Coupled with his papercutting is a manifestation of shadowy and textured forms using mostly minimal print imagery.
He lives in Eureka, California with June the cat.
