In 2017 I began working with coloured ballpoint pens. Beetles were a huge inspiration for me - I love the vibrancy of their colour and when researching them it made me immediately think of the same, almost artificial, colour of coloured ballpoint pens. These beetles mark a new chapter in my creative life and will be an ongoing project until either the beetles run out or the ink does.
