I am an analogue photographer practicing and teaching in the North West of England.

The images I am submitting are from a series called At The Front. At The Front is a project I have been working on since 2011. I have spent the last nine years photographing the seaside resort of New Brighton, capturing a progressively thriving seaside resort previously photographed by great photographers such as Martin Parr and Tom Wood. After several years of on-going renovations, New Brighton is once again awash with day-trippers and holiday makers and I have made ongoing observations of these people and how they interact with the space. It Is these observations that heartedly forms At The Front’s visual narrative. Despite being nine years into the project, this is by no means a journey’s end.
