As a digital artist, I consider these 3D pictures as photographies or virtual sculptures. This series is inspired by the birth of the famous goddess Aphrodite, here is my visual interpretation of the myth. First, Ouranos, the sky, was totally covering Gaia- the earth- and constantly fecundating her. Tired of that situation, she asked Chronos, one of her son, to emasculate his father who flew away in a terrible cry of pain. His blood and sexual organs felt in the sea, melted with seafoam and created a beautiful shell that opened with Aphrodite, naked into it.
