Using AI is a fascinating experience in that it’s like playing an artistic slot machine. You type in an idea to jump-start the process and then it magically generates images based on the words you’ve fed it. It’s an artistic gamble with results that may not be what you hoped for. The majority of images come out distorted and unnatural, looking like they were indeed made by a computer compiling tons of data, not knowing exactly what you want. However, every now and then you get a miraculous image that looks like something akin to what one would classify as “professional art.” That’s what inspired me to make this book: my desire to use Artificial Intelligence to create art that is comparable to human-made art.
