Boston, Massachusetts - Reflections of a city in transition during the years I lived there, starting in 2012. A Time & Place captures my experience walking through Boston’s streets, alleys, and subway stations with a camera, as gentrification pushed out locals and reshaped the city’s character.
Much of the imagery in this project focuses on characters of the city, iconic Boston scenes and the gritty old subway stations and train cars from the '70's & 80's that began being phased out in 2018. The project, which I am soon self-publishing as a book, uses the four MBTA lines to transport you across different neighborhoods and street scenes, offering a raw view of Boston during what I see as its final moments before becoming unrecognizable.
