For most of my last few months in New York City during 2020, I walked around alone trying to capture the city without its many distractions. The pandemic taught me many things, of those many, I realized my ignorance towards the smaller events around me being clouded by social interactions. Empty streets and alleys, empty trains and an apocalypse-like-setting made way for me to walk with the City like it originally intended me to, which then made me realize the City was slowly fighting back. This is a collection of images shot on Ilford HP5 Plus, developed and scanned by Bleeker Digital, SoHo.
