Most of the time we humans sleepwalk through our existence, blinded by a digital world of ever increasing spectacular visual display. In those rare moments when we awaken from our digital trance, we stand before the silent bastions of elegant simplicity that was/is always there, just beyond our unseeing eyes. We stand in the center of a visual haiku in which the living lungs of the earth have a voice. This series, “A different point of view” attempts to visually capture such moments, their unspoken voice reflected in the title of each photograph presented. In these brief lucid moments, we experience “other” life forms as co-inhabitants, not merely as a background to our daily personal drama.
