5 images from a series in which I explore the overlooked corners of my hometown that quietly define its character. It is a practice in reconsidering what makes a place special and respecting its complexity. The tension between natural environment, infrastructure, and social issues are unavoidable in photographing these areas- and they are the reasons why I care so deeply for this imperfect place and the people in it.
