This is a selection of new work I created for my first solo show.
The series is inspired by a (semi) recent move back to my hometown, after spending many years across the country. The pieces vary a bit in subject matter, but are tied together by nostalgic reflections of my childhood/adolescence in Hawaii: endless summer days covered in sun, sweat and outside antics.
All pieces are acrylic, colored pencil and marker on wood panels.
