A selection of work by illustrator Leonie Mathis aka “Lony” Mathis. Born in Vienna and raised in the south of Carinthia, Mathis moved to Germany and studied Illustration at the HAW Hamburg. She moved back to Vienna after graduating and has been working as a freelance illustrator ever since. Her images are mainly created digitally and serve as a portal into a pastel-coloured land of milk and honey and 90s nostalgia, where puppies comfort us while we eat heart-shaped pizzas and play Snake on our Nokia 3310.
