Rules of Entry

• This opportunity is open to any artists, photographers, illustrators, and designers, worldwide.
• Non-Members are allowed to do any/all of the following:
  • Submit 1 zine proposal (If multiple free entries are created, our system will delete them).
  • Submit 1 book proposal for a fee of $20 USD (or $15 USD early bird fee until April 30, 2025). If a Non-Member wants to submit more proposals, the $20 USD (or $15 USD early bird) fee will be applied to each individual submission.
• Booooooom Members may submit unlimited zine and book proposals.
• Non-Members may submit additional entries with a fee of $20 each time (Early bird of $15 USD until April 30, 2025).

Terms and Conditions

• No membership or payment is required to enter the awards and be eligible to receive a prize.
• 2025 Booooooom Art & Photo Book Awards is open for submissions from 8:00am PST on March 25, 2025 to 11:59pm PST on June 6, 2025. Booooooom Design Inc. reserves the right to extend the deadline by up to 14 days.
• Selected applicants will be contacted within 75 days of the deadline.
• Boooooom Design Inc. will be cover shipping/courier charges within USA and Canada. For International orders (outside of Canada and USA), Booooooom will cover up to $400 USD in shipping costs (not including proof) per winner. International packages will be sent tracked through DHL.
• Booooooom Design Inc. is not responsible for import taxes or duties. Some packages may require import taxes or duties to be paid, upon delivery to the destination address. This will vary depending on your location, and will be charged by your local postal carrier. Payment of these charges and taxes is the responsibility of the selected applicant and will not be covered by us. If you want to know if these charges will apply to your order, please contact your local customs office.
• Booooooom Design Inc., nor any of its officers, agents, partners, directors and employees liable for any liabilities, costs, causes of actions, damages and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of the selected images
• In no event shall Booooooom Design Inc., nor any of its officers, agents, partners, directors and employees be liable to you for anything arising out of the awards.
• If selected as a winner of the 2025 Booooooom Art & Photo Book Awards, you retain all original rights to your images but grant us, and our partners, a sub-license to display, publish, promote and distribute your image(s) in any an all media pertaining to the the promotion of the 2025 Book Award “Winners”.
• Regarding any potential uses outside of the awards, we will not use any images without explicit permission from the rights holder (submitter). In any or all other cases, images that have been submitted to this specific open call will be deleted from our servers and never used.
