Rules of Entry

• This opportunity is open to any illustrators or artists, worldwide, working in traditional and digital media.
• This opportunity is not open to artworks created using AI (artificial intelligence).
• Any works created in 2023 and 2024 are eligible.
• The student category is only for people who were enrolled in school (any school) when the work was created. Any works created in 2023 and 2024 are eligible.
• Non-Members are allowed to do any/all of the following:
  • Submit 1 image to 1 category for free (If multiple free entries are created, our system will over-write them, only your most recent submission will be saved)
  • Submit up to 10 images to 1 category for a fee of $20 USD (or $15 USD early bird fee until September 20). If a Non-Member wants to submit more images, the $20 USD (or $15 USD early bird) fee will be applied to each individual submission.
• Booooooom Members may submit unlimited entries to unlimited categories for FREE.
• Non-Members may submit additional entries with a fee of $20 each time (Early bird of $15 USD until September 20, 2024).
• Selected winners must provide Booooooom Design Inc. with an invoice for their $500 USD prize

Terms and Conditions

• No membership or payment is required to enter the awards and be eligible to receive a prize.
• 2024 Booooooom Illustration Awards is open for submissions from 12:01am PST on July 26, 2024 to 11:59pm PST on October 4, 2024. Booooooom Design Inc. reserves the right to extend the deadline by up to 14 days.
• Selected applicants will be contacted within 65 days of the deadline.
• All selected applicants are advised that tax implications may arise from the cash prizes.
• Booooooom Design Inc., nor any of its officers, agents, partners, directors and employees liable for any liabilities, costs, causes of actions, damages and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of the selected images
• In no event shall Booooooom Design Inc., nor any of its officers, agents, partners, directors and employees be liable to you for anything arising out of the awards.
• If selected as a winner (category winner, shortlist or longlist) of the 2024 Illustration Awards, you retain all original rights to your images but grant us, and our partners, a sub-license to display, publish, promote and distribute your image(s) in any an all media pertaining to the the promotion of the 2024 Award “Winners” (shortlist and longlist).
• Regarding any potential uses outside of the awards, we will not use any images without explicit permission from the rights holder (submitter). In any or all other cases, images that have been submitted to this specific open call will be deleted from our servers and never used.
• Full Booooooom Terms & Conditions
• Conditions for the Format “Lifetime subscription” is as follows: Format’s “Lifetime subscription” website offered in the prize is subject to the same terms and conditions of all Format accounts and is non-transferable. The term “lifetime subscription” indicates that the recipient will be charged $0/year on their Format account for the period of time that Format is extant and offering website service. If Format’s service offer changes, this negates the offer outlined in this prize. Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. If the account is not active in a six-month period, Format reserves the right to close the account. Offer may not be assigned, exchanged, sold, transferred or combined with any other discount or offer, or redeemed for cash or other goods and services.
