Sacramento, California-based photographer Enoch Ku finds beauty in the familiar with his project, “Ordinary Sacramento”. After coming to the realization that the busy pace of his daily life had become unsustainable, Ku began an intentional practice of looking. Camera in hand, he explores the inhabited spaces of Sacramento, taking life at a slower pace and connecting with his surroundings.
“I am interested in communicating the language of the city and its inhabitants in the familiar but often overlooked places, spaces that are seen and occupied but are passed by,” he explains. “There is beauty found in the in between moments of life, ordinary moments that are occurring all around us whether we see them or not.”
