A selection of work from Australian artist Georgia Hill’s debut solo exhibition. Distilling her large scale mural practice into canvas pieces, “A Measure Of All Things” is an exploration of how structures and language work together to translate both our physical experiences of the world and our interpretations of it:
“These works shift between simplifying and overwhelming concepts of experience, showing moments of clarity in boundaries and simplified forms, juxtaposed against instances of tension or reflection in textures, repetition, and phrasing. These works build to consider our varied experiences and memories, and what shapes the enduring significance of one place or point in time.”
