New work from Istanbul-born, New York-based artist Gizem Vural (previously featured here). Over the past year Vural has taken a break from drawing editorial illustrations and has been focusing instead on paintings with colored pencil on paper:

“In my editorial work I always enjoy telling my stories in abstract way as much as possible and I am very interested in creating interesting compositions. This time on big papers I created abstract work and creating compositions with shapes and lines.”
