Small collages on wood panel and paper by artist Danny Rose (previously featured here). An exploration of colour and form, Rose continues to combine nature with abstraction. As he explains further:
“In this new series, the work moves further inward and focuses less on my memories of place and more on the space in between. The landscape is still present, but not always indicated by a horizon. Sometimes we are higher, closer to the wind. From a distance (the works) can appear to be soft and edgeless. Yet when they are encountered up close, their parts are revealed.”
