A lovely series by London-based photographer Chiara Zonca. Shot in the untouched landscapes of the Chilean and Bolivian altiplano, Zonca captures a striking topography, almost unnerving in its serenity and limited signs of life. As she shared with us:
“By taking time to live and breathe in these vast, eerily silent and untouched landscapes, I document the shift in my perception of time and place… I came across subtle signs of human interference with nature and decided to include them in the collection, to disrupt the natural flow of these landscapes with a stark reminder of our presence in the world as we find it, and what happens to it once we leave.”
