A series of vending machines have been popping up in public spaces around France. However, rather than offering the usual snacks and sugar-filled drinks, these dispensers print off short stories for people to read while they wait for their flight or dawdling shopping companion. Developed by innovative publishing company, Short Édition, the machines offer a choice of 1, 3 or 5 minute reads, which are then randomly selected from their catalogue. See more images below.
