A wonderful series of abstract compositions by photographer Brenda Biondo. Inspired by art theories of colour and perception, Biondo creates aesthetics akin to abstract paintings by folding and cutting printed images of the sky, and then re-photographing these images against the actual sky.
Taking advantage of natural light and atmospheric colour, the result is a kind of optical illusion created entirely without post-production manipulation. See more images from “Paper Skies” below.
