Beginnings is a short film series by Chiara Clemente, and her latest installment features Iranian artist Marjane Satrapi. I love watching any artist draw their signature character so it’s a treat to see Satrapi put some ink down as she talks about life many years before her graphic novel series Persepolis became an Oscar-nominated film.
